Defoamer 5950

5950 has both defoaming ability and compatibility. It is highly safe to use and has little impact on the transparency of the paint film. It has excellent defoaming and anti-foaming capabilities. It has the characteristics of high cost performance, wide versatility with less side effects. This product can solve the problem of difficult defoaming in the system, inhibit the introduction of bubbles during stirring, and help release tiny bubbles from the paint. This product has good stability at high temperatures and is suitable for baking paint systems.

5950 is especially suitable for coil coatings, UPE systems, coil coatings, unsaturated polyester, epoxy, two- component PU, amino baking paint, nitro dip coating, shower coating, acid-cured amino, UV and other systems. Suitable for solvent-based or solvent-free systems such as shower coating, various roller coatings, and spray coatings. This product is a non-flammable chemical.

5950 can be added at any stage of production. For best performance, defoamer should be added to the grinding material prior to grinding. If added at a later stage, the shear force must be high enough to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer to prevent crater.
Recommended dosage: generally 0.1-1% of the total dosage. The data is based on empirical dosage. The optimal dosage needs to be determined through experiments.
