FEATURES

9179 has excellent wettability. Compared with small molecular wetting and dispersing agents, it has excellent ability to prevent back coarsening, excellent dispersion and storage stability. Compared with other dispersants, it has less hydrophilic group, good water resistance and little effect on water resistance of paint film. It has wide compatibility with many water-based base materials. It is the first choice of dispersant for resin-containing grinding. It can stabilize various pigments including inorganic pigments, organic pigments and carbon black. It can also be used in resin-free systems. Even if there are organic amines, rheological additives, wetting agents and organic co-solvents in the abrasive, it will not affect its dispersion performance. This high molecular weight additive improves color strength, transparency, gloss and storage stability via steric stabilization mechanism.There is no adverse effect on the stability of those pH-sensitive systems.

APPLICATIONS

9179 is suitable for all kinds of waterborne paint, leather paint, pigment concentrate paste, color paste, flexoprinting and gravure ink, waterborne road marking paint and so on. It has excellent dispersion stability effect in terms of organic pigments and carbon black, water-based epoxy system etc.

APPLICATION PROCESS

For excellent performance, it should be added to the abrasive before dispersion or added to the system before high-speed dispersion to ensure that it is dissolved or dispersed in the system.

Inorganic pigments (8%-10%); Organic pigments (20%-40%BET value); Carbon black (20%-40%). The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series of laboratory tests.
