Defoamer 1825

1825 has high defoaming efficiency, no shrinkage, no fish eyes, poor adhesion and other problems. It is applicable to water-based formula, can remove stubborn foam, and has very good compatibility. It can be used in formula together with a variety of leveling agents and wetting agents, and can be used in strong acid and strong alkali aqueous solution systems. It is widely used in varnish and color paint formulations, and can be used in water-based pure acrylic lotion, styrene acrylic lotion, vinyl and EVA lotion, PU dispersion and mixed systems.

1825 specially suitable for water-based industrial coating systems, architectural coatings, water-based inks, overprint varnish, water-based wood, furniture coatings, and inlaid floor paints, water-based metal paints, automotive paints, amino baking paints, transparent industrial paints, leather coatings, etc.

In order to achieve sufficient dispersion of defoamer, it is best to stir before use. They can be added during the paint mixing stage, pre diluted, or directly added to the coating according to the supply form. The long-term effectiveness of defoamer depends on the system and should be tested in different formulations (it is recommended to conduct experiments at different temperatures). It can be added after the foam is produced or added into the product as a foam inhibiting component. According to different use systems, the amount of defoamer added is 0.1-0.3%, and the optimal amount is determined by the customer according to the specific situation.
