This product is used in the fields of water-based synthetic leather, water-based architectural paint, water-based adhesive, etc. It can be combined with cellulose ether and polyacrylic acid thickener to give the coating better leveling and anti-splash properties. It is resistant to microbial degradation, and its thickening ability depends on the structure of the emulsion, particle size and emulsifier, as well as film forming additives and surfactants in the coating

APPLICATIONS
6166 It can be used in various medium and low grade latex paints, water-based adhesives, water-based inks, leather coatings and other systems. It is suitable for waterborne coatings such as water emulsion type and water dispersion type, including waterborne wood paint and other industrial paints
APPLICATION PROCESS
Add it during the grinding or paint blending stage, or after adding the emulsion. Recommended addition amount: 0.5-3% (total formula), the exact amount of addition should be determined by different formulations and required viscosity. In order to better disperse and avoid agglomeration, use water or cosolvent 1:1 dilution before adding.
Note that association thickening is affected by temperature, low temperature viscosity is higher, high temperature viscosity is lower, and temperature conditions should be considered when designing the formula
