APPLICATIONS
APPLICATION PROCESS
5302B can be added during the grinding or paint mixing stage, or after adding the emulsion. It is recommended to add 0.5-3% (of the total formula). The exact amount should be determined by different formulas and required viscosity. In order to better disperse and avoid agglomeration, dilute it with water or co-solvent at a ratio of 1:1 before adding it.
Precautions
Associative thickening is affected by temperature. Low-temperature viscosity is higher and high-temperature viscosity is lower. Temperature conditions should be considered when designing the formula;
When the batch of raw materials to be thickened is changed, another test should be conducted to determine the amount of thickener;
Its own viscosity has a temperature effect, so it is easy to pump above 20℃.
