APPLICATIONS
5825 is used in water-based synthetic leather, water-based coatings, water-based adhesives and other fields. It is used in combination with cellulose ethers and polyacrylic acid thickeners to give the coating better leveling, splash resistance and other properties. It can resist microbial degradation.Its The thickening ability depends on the emulsion structure, particle size and emulsifier as well as the film forming additives and surfactants in the coating
APPLICATION PROCESS
5825 can be added during the grinding or paint mixing stage, or after adding the emulsion. It is recommended to add 0.5-3% (of the total formula). The exact amount should be determined by different formulas and required viscosity. In order to better disperse and avoid agglomeration, dilute it with water or co-solvent at a ratio of 1:1 before adding it.
Precautions:

Associative thickening is affected by temperature. Low-temperature viscosity is higher and high temperature viscosity is lower. Temperature conditions should be considered when designing the formula;

When the batch of raw materials to be thickened is changed, another test should be conducted to determine the amount of thickener;

SHELF LIFE
5825 is recommended to store at 5-35℃ in original sealed packing. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
